Does anyone know specific things to look for to avoid a fake when all I have is photos and a serial number The only thing Ive discovered is the strings shouldnt angle from the nut to the tuning pegs.

The fakes always have font that looks like it was done on a laser printer.

There was a thread on here about fake lespauls and the website in question had some fake prs guitars there to.

That might be a good place to start checking if there is a back of the neck shot.

But as other have said - post a pic here and a number of experts will give you an assessment.

Ive seen pics of Gibsons posted on here that I would swear were real but were proven to be good fakes.
